Full Itinerary
The tour starts with us picking you up from your hotels in Cusco at 8.30 am. Then we will start our tour along the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Taray viewpoint: This will be our first stop; from here we will have an incredible view of the Sacred Valley. Some of the vegetation that outstands is the Kantu, and agricultural plantations like Quinoa, Kiwicha, and Corn (Parakay). We will also see snow peaks like Pitusiray and Sahuasiray.
Pisac: The archaeological center of Pisaq is an impressive construction with an endless continuum of agricultural terraces. In the central part, we will see the Intiwatana (Solar Clock) and fine edifications inhabited by the Incan nobility 500 years ago.
The town of Pisaq: Located on the right shore of the Urubamba River. We will visit a picturesque artisanal market to see the “Trueque” tradition (exchanging things or food without money). We will also see alpaca wool fabrics, silver and golden jewelry. Then we will have lunch in your chosen restaurant.
Ollantaytambo: After lunch, we will visit the archaeological center. We will walk around the most important areas. The walk to the top is quite steep and it is recommended doing it slowly.
Chincheros: Located 28 kilometers northwest of Cusco at 3160 m.a.s.l. It is surrounded by snow peaks like Salkantay, Veronica, and Soray. We will see the agricultural platforms and meet talented textile artisans. Finally, we return to Cusco.
