Itinerary

Day 1: Connection to the Wonder

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco for your transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo or Poroy (depending on your chosen option). The tourist train offers a comfortable journey with beautiful Andean landscapes along the way. The trip to Aguas Calientes takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Upon arrival, a representative will welcome you and escort you to your hotel. You will have a free afternoon to enjoy the charm of the town. The following morning, we head to the bus station for a 30-minute ride up to the citadel.

You will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the main sectors of the Sanctuary: the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial (Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, and the Temple of the Three Windows. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the site at your leisure. Finally, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes to board your return train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
