Full Itinerary
The Mighty River & Rafting
Most tours take three to four days. After a five-hour drive and descending to 2000 meters, we reach Hualpachaca Bridge to prepare our equipment. We will sail approximately 55 kilometers through the deep canyon, passing near Choquequirao and the Qonoq medicinal baths.
The Journey
Between May and October, you will experience a «roller coaster» of sensations on the river. In the afternoons, we camp on sand beaches to enjoy bonfires and the sound of the river. The journey requires full concentration, especially when facing technical parts.
The Rapids
We go through type III, IV, and even V rapids. The most technical and dangerous rapid usually appears on the third day (class V). Succeeding on these tests is a formidable experience full of adrenaline. The tour concludes at Cunyac Bridge, where optional bungee jumping is available.
