Overview
The Rainbow Mountain of Peru, also known as Winicunca, is stunning and can be seen on the spectacular Ausangate area. This trip requires a trek of at least 1 day (4 hours totally: 2 hours up and 2 hours down the mountain).

Full Itinerary
Pick up and Drive:
We will pick you up between 03:00 hrs. – 03:15 hrs. for a 3-hour drive through the South Valley to the Hanchipacha community for breakfast. Then, a 15-minute drive takes us to the Quesiuno community (4,326 m / 14,189 ft.).
The Trek:
We start the 3-hour trek up to the Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, enjoy amazing landscapes of red mountains, traditional local houses, and herds of alpacas. Upon reaching the goal (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.), you will have 30 minutes to 1 hour to explore and take pictures.
Return:
We descend for approximately 2 hours back to Quesiuno community. Our transportation will take us to Hanchipacha for lunch. Finally, we drive back to Cusco, dropping you off at Regocijo Square around 20:00 hrs.
